How to Prepare
- Please wear mostly solid colors (no plaid) because
small prints do not film well. For the recording, we will attach a
small microphone to your top.
- Please bring 4 to 6 items that you always have when
traveling that represent you. These can be clothes, gadgets, and
electronic devices and less conventional items such as pillows, travel
mugs, and house-slippers.
- Please bring your suitcase (packed or not). Your
suitcase does not need to be packed, we will use it as a prop and have
you describe it.
- Sign the Media Release Form [PDF]
ahead of time.
- Interviews take about 20 minutes. To be sure we have
the best set up for you, please be on time.
- Most importantly, have fun! Remember your target
audience are middle-school kids and we want to show these kids
interesting people doing fun science. Imagine you are talking to your
12-year-old self.
